This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a move into the role of Facility/Residential Manager in an aged care home in the picturesque town of Cootamundra. For those cricketing fans out there, this is the birthplace of our beloved Sir Donald Bradman

You will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of the aged care facility and its resources to effectively deliver services to meet the needs of residents.

- Premium residence of ~55 beds in picturesque country town

This is a full time permanent position whereby you’ll be in charge of providing a caring environment that enhances the security, welfare and wellbeing of residents.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Planning, controlling and directing the provision of a range of high-quality, personalised, clinical care and support services.
- Managing the budget of the residential aged care facility.
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the facility and its staff.
- Leading your team with a positive approach and building a positive culture within the team.
- Managing the performance of staff, recruitment and selection.
- Ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Adhering to all accreditation standards and taking a continuous improvement approach.

**To be successful**:

- Registered Nurse with extensive Aged Care experience already managing a facility
- Experience managing a 24/7 roster and workforce planning
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proficient numeracy skills - reconciliations, reporting and budgeting
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ACFI
- Efficient time management
- Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards
- Thorough understanding of continuous improvement
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly organised and an ability to use and set up systems
- Experience in managing and mentoring care staff
