**The Role**

As Head of Finance, your role will take overall responsibility for the smooth running of all finance-related activities of the company.

As the Head of Finance, you will provide meaningful reporting and insights to aid decision making at both an executive and operational level.

Your role as Head of Finance will include (but not be limited to):

- Oversight and management of the accounts department (2 staff) to ensure accurate delivery of all reporting activities
- Work as a key member of the ELT and prepare the monthly ELT reporting pack highlighting the financial performance of projects
- Business partner and provide advice to multiple stakeholders
- Provide KPI operational and financial analysis
- Budgeting in consultation with stakeholders
- Manage relationships with external parties such as Bankers, Auditors, Tax Accountants etc.
- Continuously evolve and ensure financial and internal controls, systems and policies are in place
- Drive improvements to increase efficiencies, minimise risk and ensure legal compliance

**Your Background**

In order to be considered for this Head of Finance role you will meet the majority of the following criteria:

- Professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience working in a relatable project centric industry, e.g. construction, property development, fit-outs etc..
- Demonstrable accounting skills to produce the numbers and the analytical smarts to ‘tell the story’ behind them
- Excellent communication skills, proven stakeholder management abilities and an upbeat demeanour are pre-requisites to be able to effectively communicate with a variety of personalities
- Aspiration and excitement to both, help grow a business and in-turn advance your own career.

Those working in relatable roles such as Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director or Financial Controller with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
