**The Role**:
**Role responsibilities**:

- Gain knowledge of childcare regulations, ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and conduct audits to maintain compliance.
- Support staff training, foster a collaborative culture, and develop leadership skills through mentorship.
- Plan and deliver educational programs, align curriculum with objectives, and leverage resources for individual child development.
- Maintain accurate records, uphold confidentiality, and handle communications promptly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with parents, address concerns, promote community involvement, and support new family orientations.
- Assist in budgeting, manage resources efficiently, and ensure smooth operations by adhering to budgets and addressing maintenance needs.
- Develop emergency response skills, prioritize safety during crises, and communicate feedback or concerns effectively.

**Role skills/competencies**:

- Current ‘Police Check’ less than 6 months old (for new employees or for new software access) - Current ‘Drivers’ License’
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Knowledge and understanding of National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework (Standard and Victorian)

**Role qualifications**:

- Minimum of ‘Diploma of Children’s Services’ qualification
- Current ‘First Aid’ qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma
- Child Safe’ accredited training (Completed)
- Food Safety Supervisor’ qualification (updated every 5 years)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
