Infrastructure Analyst | IT Support | Permanent Opportunity | Eastern Melbourne | Hybrid Working | $90k

**Your new company**
Our client are a multi-national business who operate in transportation, manufacturing and various other sectors. Their hugely successful manufacturing business based in the South-Eastern Suburbs are growing their IT team and are now hiring for this brand new Infrastructure Analyst.

**Your new role**
In this role you will be responsible for continual improvement, support and maintenance of the business' technical infrastructure alongside a small team of infra-support staff. Using your skillset to optimise usage of internal systems through testing and designing new server, network and security concepts. You will be a key point of contact for business stakeholders and business users, troubleshooting and analysing issues and resolving in a timely manner.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You must have worked within a similar role or capacity previously and be degree qualified in IT. Our client would be happy to consider professionals with over 3 years experience and whom are competent in the following:

- Expert knowledge in technologies like servers, networking, telecommunications and network security are essential, Knowledge of network architectures, configurations, protocols and interfaces (e.g. TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, etc.)
- Knowledge of network connectivity for physical and virtualized servers and Storage Area Network (SAN) is preferred.
- The ability to liaise confidently with Senior Stakeholders and business users.
- Your ability to manage projects and have some Business Analysis capabilities will also be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Cloud Design Patterns will be an advantage.
