This is an exciting new role in Respect Victoria which is designed to work across the organisation to build prevention capability, provide strategic advice and identify opportunities for influence and impact across the state. Working as part of the newly created Prevention Impact and Coordination Directorate, and connecting regularly with the organisation's Leadership and Senior Leadership Teams, this role requires a focus on innovation, creativity, an ability to build strong and trusted partnerships and a commitment to designing and delivering activities that will support effective primary prevention.

**Respect Victoria**

Respect Victoria was established as a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018 (the Act) on 4 October 2018. We have a broad focus on the primary prevention of all forms of violence against women and family violence in Victoria, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide statewide leadership to create social, institutional, organisational and community change.

**Essential skills and experience**
- Demonstrated experience working within the prevention of family violence/violence against women sector for at least five years
- Deep technical knowledge of the conceptual frameworks and evidence that guides the prevention of family violence/violence against women
- Expert and detailed knowledge of the prevention of violence against women system in a Victorian context
- Demonstrated experience at building, navigating and sustaining complex stakeholder relationships with movement and NGOs in a complex environment
- System focussed and able to deal comfortably with complex information, and to lead and develop frameworks and strategic positions to enhance advance primary prevention activity in Victoria
- Demonstrated experience in project or program design and delivery in a prevention context

A strong and collaborative leader with a proven record of achievement of achieving outcomes in a cultural change context
