At the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connecting South Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible for delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city’s public transport network.

**The Opportunity**
The **Public Affairs** team is responsible for engaging our community to ensure they’re well informed and involved in our Department’s work. They do this by listening to, collaborating, informing and communicating with community, media, staff and stakeholders at every step of the way.
As a graduate you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of work across:
- **Marketing and Communications -** developing campaigns for public information, brand management, corporate and internal communications. This includes strategy and planning, graphic design, videography, animation and digital communications.
- **Media -** managing the Department’s relationships across mainstream and social media, promoting the Department’s work and monitoring and tracking media trends.
- **Engagement -** partnering across the Department to coordinate and lead engagement with the community, cultural groups and other stakeholders across a range of exciting projects for South Australia.
We are looking to establish a pool of graduates for opportunities that are immediately available at the start of 2025 and that may come up over the following 12 months.
**About You**
We’d love to hear from graduates who have completed a minimum three-year degree, **within the last three years**, in:
- Journalism
- Media
- Creative Writing
- Communications
- Community Engagement
- Film and Production
- Arts
- Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Or equivalent/related field.

**Salary**
Year 1: ASO3 - $67,589 per annum, plus 11.5% employer super contributions

**Applicants must have the following**:
- Undergraduate qualifications received between the years 2022 and 2025.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a visa that allows them to work in Australia.
- National Police Check (or be willing to get one) and may also be required to undergo other employment checks.
