**About the opportunity**:
As the Graduate Officer (various disciplines) you will contribute to a range of projects and operational activities within the Department in one of our three Divisions, Regulation and Compliance, Corporate and Commercial and Strategic Policy and Delivery. You may have the opportunity to participate in rotational placements relevant to your discipline area and dependent on your skill set. You will be required to undertake workplace and professional development activities preparing you for a career within the Public Sector. Graduate Officers will gain experience across a broad range of Department responsibilities.
The Graduate Officer is required to:
- Assist in multi-disciplinary projects or other activities specific to the host
- Provide input to deliver projects, services and solutions within agreed timeframes, adding value by exercising initiative and
- Provide written and verbal information and advice to other staff within host
- Maintain a sound knowledge base of the activities performed within the work
- Comprehend and utilize technical information to generate options and recommendations which are soundly based on research and appropriate consultation for review by senior officers.

**Essential requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications or related discipline, attained within the last two years or will obtain before employment commences.
**Remuneration**:
ASO3 $67,589 per annum
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
