At the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connecting South Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible for delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city’s public transport network.

Our work encompasses every part of our State; from our cities to our regions, connecting and strengthening community.

**The Opportunity**
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll engage with a variety of key stakeholders, industry and teams across a range of sectors, getting involved in drafting, analysing and implementing policy.

This may include a focus across road safety, vehicle registration, driver licensing, heavy vehicles, transport innovation policy and passenger transport to deliver benefits and outcomes for customers, the community and the economy.

We are looking to establish a pool of graduates for both immediately available opportunities at the start of 2025 and that may come up over the following 12 months.

**About You**
We’d love to hear from graduates who have completed a minimum three-year degree, **within the last three years**, in:

- Criminology
- Sociology
- Environmental Policy and Management
- Public Policy
- Politics and International Relations
- Arts
- Or equivalent/related field.

**Salary**
Year 1: ASO3 - $67,589 per annum, plus 11.5% employer super contributions

**Applicants must have the following**:

- Undergraduate qualifications received between the years 2022 and 2025.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a visa that allows them to work in Australia.
- National Police Check (or be willing to get one) and may also be required to undergo other employment checks.
