Regional Property Asset Officer

**What you will be doing:
- Provide comprehensive reports on portfolio property assets to support investment planning, property maintenance and upgrade planning as well.
- Undertake building assessments and preparing reports on property management solutions.
- Ensure compliance of maintenance works with statutory requirements, building codes, regulations and departmental policies (including fire safety).
- Complete the Property Condition Audit Process inspections, Purchasing of Existing Stock, Previously Never Inspected & Indigenous Community Housing Organisation properties, provide scope of work.
- Provide property advice and support on property assets and portfolio management issues.
- Maintaining knowledge and skills in property management practice and policiesand procedures.
- Representing the Department's portfolio programs and decisions at local forums as well as establishing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with community representatives, stakeholders, and non-government organisations.
- Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.

- Possess building industry experience to ensure property asset management strategies are supported through current knowledge of building products, codes, and standards.
