As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Receptionist and Administration Assistant to join our team.
Our specialties are in the sales, finance, deployment and maintenance of Managed Print, Managed IT and Telco solutions. Techpay can provide clients with one payment method for all of their business technology, without needing to engage different suppliers. You will be working direct with the owner and Administration team in growing the business and looking after our clients. Techpay Australia are authorised resellers for Sharp, Ericsson-LG, Fujifilm, Avaya, HP, TPG, BenQ and more.
**Position Summary**:
The Receptionist and Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position is ideal for university students or individuals seeking part-time employment, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience in our fast-paced technology industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Front Desk Management**:
- Greet and assist visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Assist in general office tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Help coordinate meetings and events, including room setup and scheduling.
- **Communication**:
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
- Relay messages and information accurately and promptly.
- **Data Entry**:
- Input and update data in various systems and databases.
- Assist the administration team with billing and accounting requests.
- Maintain accurate and organized records.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate efficient communication and workflow.
- Support team members with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in a university program or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, and a willingness to learn.
**Schedule**:
- Part-time position with flexible hours to accommodate class schedules.
- Approximately 20-25 hours per week.
