Multicultural Families Organisation (MFO) is a not-for-profit organisation based on the Gold Coast, committed to supporting and empowering culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals and communities. We provide a wide range of programs and services to assist with settlement, community development, and social inclusion.

**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a passionate and proactive **Client and Community Liaison** to drive community engagement, build the capacity of multicultural groups, and support individual clients through the delivery of tailored settlement services. This is a full-time role based in Southport and ideal for someone who thrives in community settings and wants to make a real difference.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver case management to newly arrived clients under the SETS program
- Coordinate and support community engagement programs and social events
- Plan and deliver events aligned with national celebrations (Harmony Week, Refugee Week, etc.)
- Provide advocacy, referrals, and one-on-one support to clients
- Support community groups with governance and capacity-building initiatives
- Represent MFO at stakeholder forums, networks, and community meetings
- Support MFO’s newsletter, public communications, and occasional MC duties at events

**What We’re Looking For**
✔ Experience working with CALD communities or in a similar community liaison role
✔ Strong skills in community capacity building and stakeholder engagement
✔ Excellent communication and public speaking skills
✔ Proven ability to organise events and engage diverse community members
✔ Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team
✔ Exceptional organisational and time management skills
✔ Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
✔ A current driver’s licence and valid working with children/blue card (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
