Our client is currently looking for an experienced Destination Specialist - Groups, for their office in Sydney, NSW.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager & Managing Director.

Responsibilities include:

- Operating Special Interest, Adhoc, and Special Interest Groups.
- Preparing proposals for clients from all market sources.
- Processing reservations for tour plans in the computer system with itinerary preparation, client documentation, issuing vouchers and finalising.
- Attending to amendments in arrangements, as required.
- Producing an Invoice and/or arranging payment on arrival.
- Liaising and assisting groups while they are in Australia. As the key contact for all your Groups while in Australia, your mobile number will be provided to all Tour Leader and Guides.
- Assisting with agent site inspections and travelling with clients, if required.
- Assisting with agent incentive programs and travelling with clients, if required.
- Following up on Group quotations to secure business.
- Researching product, attending supplier presentations, and attending industry workshops and seminars, when required.
- Participating on staff educational, when required.
- Developing new Group business opportunities and itineraries.
- Client development.
- General clerical duties and assisting in all areas of the office as required by Management if time permits.
