**About the role**:
We are looking for an exceptional horseman to portray the role of Jimmy and Brad the male romantic leads in Australian Outback Spectaculars Heartland.

**Jimmy**:
Jimmy is a young local lad who offers to help the Carson family bring their cattle in during one of the worst droughts Australia has ever seen. He is caring and honest and has a special place in his heart for the Carson’s daughter Sarah although he has trouble expressing it. As Jimmy struggles to find the words to tell Sarah how he feels he is taken on an amazing journey when he catches and tries to tame a beautiful black brumby.

**Brad**:
Brad is a young local lad who offers to help the Carson family bring their cattle in during one of the worst droughts Australia has ever seen. He is extremely confident, charming and completely full of himself. He is the primary antagonist in the story of Heartland and does everything he can to steal Sarah Carson’s away from the romantic lead Jimmy.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Must possess an extremely high level of ridden ability and horsemanship.

Competitive background advantageous.
- To attend physicals as directed by VRTP and the ability to maintain physical fitness for the role.
- Possess the physical attributes to play the age range between 18 - 30.
- The ability to demonstrate strong performance skills.
- Previous acting in a live theatrical environment is desirable.
- Singing experience is advantageous but not essential.
