Good tiling solutions(GTS) is a residential tiling business that operates in Gold Coast, Logan & Brisbane. We are looking for an experienced and skilled Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team.
- Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
- Conduct workplace communication
- Handle floor tiling materials and equipment
- Plan, measure and mark surfaces to be covered and lay out work
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, cement and adhesives
- Fill all holes and cracks, then clean surfaces
- Attach tiles to surfaces, using correct adhesive, making sure that patterned tiles match
- Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges, corners, or around obstacles such as fittings and pipes
- Space and even the tiles by using tools such as spirit levels, squares and plumb-lines
- Lay floors of cement, granolithic, terrazzo or similar composition
- Repair wall and floor tilesqualifications/work experiences required - e.g. certificate III trade qualification, White Card & 3 years work experience.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
