**Opportunities**:
We are seeking support workers with a minimum of two years complex care experience within the mental health sector. Applicants must be flexible and available to pick up shifts 24/7.
- Applicants **MUST **be willing to travel to and work shifts located within the Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs.

**Requirements**:

- Stoma and Urostomy bag experience.
- Manual Handling experience.
- Skin management experience.
- Must hold a Certificate 4 in Disability or higher.
- Minimum 2 years’ personal care experience.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate with non-verbal clients.
- Strong personal care skills, including showering and toileting.
- Experience working within complex environments.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay motivated whist working unsupervised.
- Exhibit the highest levels of professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Must have great availability including days, weekends, sleepovers, and active awake shifts.
- Passionate about helping people with Mental disabilities and complex behaviours.
- Creative and can think outside the box.
- Ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Reliable and organized.
- Assisting client in a range of daily activities including medication reminders, domestic duties, cleaning, food preparation, mealtime assistance, dressing, and maintenance of personal hygiene, assisted showering, Stoma and Urostomy bag experience.

**To be successful in this role, you must hold or be willing to obtain prior to employment**:

- Certificate 4 in Disability or higher.
- Right to work in Australia.
- National Police clearance certificate.
- NDIS worker screening check.
- Full comprehensive car insurance.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Reliable transport and Australian driver’s license.
- Working with Children check.
- First aid certificate and CPR.
- Mental health first aid is highly desired but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
