**How you’ll make an impact**

Due to continuous and exciting growth, we’re currently recruiting for multiple **Complex Behaviour - Disability Support Workers** to join our team to support a group of clients based in South Morang and Bundoora.

You’ll be responsible for providing quality services and safeguards to our Participants with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.

A day in the life as a Complex Disability Support Worker with CareChoice, may see you supporting our Participants with:

- Building on individual strengths and enabling Participants to reach their goals.
- 24-hour complex supports
- Supported Independent living
- Community access and transport
- Domestic and Personal care

There will be on-going and regular training provided by the care team.

**We are only offering perm Part-Time and Full-Time positions.**

**About you**

As a passionate, reliable, and experienced Complex Disability Support Worker, you’ll have experience with providing quality care services, implementing behavioural strategy supports and building rapport with Participants. Experience in Mental Health is highly desirable.

You will need to come with:

- Covid19 Digital Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation Statement
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Minimum 12 months experience working with clients that have Behaviours of Concern
- Previous experience working with clients that have behavioural support plans
- Previous experience and understanding of de-escalation techniques
- Valid Driver’s Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
