The Department of Diabetes & Endocrinology is a team committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of support services to all Clinical Units including the new TRAC (Telehealth Rapid Access Clinics) - Our team enjoys a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders having access to internal resources to enhance and provide expertise across the many service disciplines.
**Your new role**:
- You will be a direct assistant to the Department Director. As a secretary in the Department of Diabetes & Endocrinology you will be required to support various department administrative functions. This may include revision of current administrative workflows as well as the introduction and maintenance of new administrative processes.
- Secretarial support to department
- Prioritise requests from the Director and ensure that correspondence are dealt with professionally and promptly
- Maintain outlook calendar
- Coordinate medical interviews, annual discussions
- Distribute timesheets to all staff and collate and send to payroll
- Computer literacy, familiar with; or ability to learn new programs such as iPM, EPIC, eRecruit, ECM, CAFM, IRIS
- Preparing agenda’s and meeting minutes
**About you**:
- At least 12 months experience in similar role (2 years experience desired)
- High interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills that translate across both patient and Doctor relationships
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with other staff
- Ability to learn programs and systems easily
- Highly developed computer literacy**
