**Job Description**:
Toll Global Forwarding is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee the business development function in Queensland. This position will undertake activities such as developing and executing the sales strategy, leading and mentoring sales and business development team members and representing Toll Global Forwarding QLD.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role provides an excellent step-up opportunity for a career driven individual. Act as the primary sales contact for key network partners and drive high level business activities to maximise corporate exposure and increase brand awareness.
As the Sales Manager, you will:
- Set local sales objectives & priorities to meet clients’ needs & achieve company’s growth target.
- Actively engage with Product Managers to create initiative plans / products to achieve Sales targets.
- Drive volume growth and maximize profitability by reviewing/linking sales source, market trends, cost allocation & company’s capabilities
- Lead and develop sales and business development staff to achieve business objectives.
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in business development within the freight forwarding industry.
- Experience in hunting new business, as well as ability to maintain pipelines of sustainable leads.
- Commitment to Toll Values including Customer, Progress, Teamwork, Accountability and Integrity.
