**About the role**:
This is a unique and challenging role that transcends the traditional duties of an Executive Assistant and will allow you to work as a true business partner.

Providing one to one support to the Chief Executive Officer of IDP Education, this role balances managing day-to-day tasks with higher-level support which includes handling sensitive information, relationships, and other special projects on a global scale. This is a busy and challenging role where you will be involved in every facet of the business.

Key responsibilities:
Having previously supported a global C-suite Executive, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Evaluate and prioritise meeting requests, priorities and commitments allowing for travel time, time-zone differences, and other constraints
- Provide support to the Chairman and Board of Directors as requested
- Act as back up for the team where support is required to write papers, prepare, and distribute board packs and associated activities for Board and Committee meetings
- Streamline all meetings and preparing all material, speeches, presentations, agendas, and action items, as well as taking minutes and actioning follow ups
- Coordinate workshops and GLT Meetings
- Working closely with the GLT to support the delivery of strategic objectives
- Lead various different projects across the business
- Collaborate with the boarder Executive Assistant team to plan and deliver initiatives

Skills / Experience:
You will be an experienced Executive Assistant with a long and celebrated history supporting global C-Suite leaders to achieve excellence. Key skills and experience required include but are not limited to;
- Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a global C-Suite leader of an ASX listed business, working as a true business partner
- Demonstrated experience in complex diary management, accounting for multiple time zones, as well as booking travel on a national and international scale
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to draft and send correspondence on the behalf of your Leader
- Extensive experience preparing, reviewing, and formatting board papers and reports
- Experience in minute taking and secretarial duties
- Dedicated to work with exceptional organisation skills, and the ability to follow through on all matters
- Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, and think outside the box when faced with issues
- Sound judgement and morals with personal integrity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility in all areas including openness to travel and work away from home on rare occasions
