**How will I help?**

This role exists within Data Platforms Business Banking Data Intelligence & Analytics team. The team supports a wide range of reporting solutions across multiple brands within Westpac Group.

As a Systems Specialist, you will be supporting BAU and change activities across a range of BI solutions span across Microsoft BI Stack, Angular and Web Focus.

You will be:

- Liaising with multiple stakeholders elicit, prioritise, validate and document reporting requirements
- Involving in change management, project management, development, testing and implementation of reporting and data solutions
- Driving report simplification and automation opportunities
- Ensuring availability, accuracy, reliability, and performance of the reporting solutions

**What you will do**
- Meet business unit’s governance framework of regular reporting to ensure MI is effective, accurate, and information delivered is repeatable. This framework will include business unit standards on, but not limited to, documentation, visualisation, functionality, delivery SLAs and report production efficiencies
- Identify and deliver new information solutions or enhancements meeting stakeholder requirements, provide scoping, sizing and timelines for delivery, all to business unit standards
- Continuous improvement focus—analyse, identify and recommend improvements to information design and delivery to more effectively meet needs of the customer or improve efficiency of providing information. Improve reporting efficiency via automation and decommission
- Provide timely and accurate information on request, with ability to do so within both immediate and negotiated timeframes, to business unit standards
- Adherence to BPA and Westpac group change management protocols, technology governance requirements and JIRA based workflow management requirements
- Support Senior Manager, practice lead and Head of Information Design & Delivery
- Establish effective working relationships with BPA internal partners, Finance stakeholders, Technology partners and stakeholders from distribution network
- Manage a pipeline and have prioritisation discussions with manager and stakeholders - an ability to assess work requests in order to scope requirements and size effort will allow for informed discussions on pipeline and prioritisation setting
- Confidence to have open and honest communication with stakeholders on capacity and ability to meet demands. An ability to manage multiple stakeholders with differing requests will require negotiation and transparency in order to agree realistic timeframes and keep stakeholders satisfied

**What do I need?**
- 2+ years commercial experience in user interface design and development in Java Script, CSS, Angular JS, Angular (type scripts), Bootstrap and Responsive UI design skills
- 2+ years commercial experience in Advanced.Net, C#, Web API, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS
- 2+ years commercial experience in Business Intelligence Solutions
- Knowledge and Experience in Agile Methodology
- Web Focus experience is highly desirable
- Banking or Finance industry experience is highly desirable
- Control M and JIRA experience will be an added advantage
