**A Snapshot**
As the Site System Specialist reporting directly to the Senior Electrical System Specialist, you will work closely with the DC Operations and Development teams making your mark in a number of ways:

- Engaging with our General Contractors, and our DC operations team to develop Methods of Procedures (MOPs) to ensure they meet all of our risk mitigation and safety requirements.
- Work with a class-leading commission team to deliver, technically accurate and timely projects for our customers

Please note this role will be based in our data centre in Western Sydney.
**Your Day to Day**
- Author high voltage switching instructions and then lead a peer review session to confirm the accuracy of the switching procedure
- Prepare MOPS (Method of Procedure) for construction integration works
- Review and assist in MOP preparation from other related partners
- Carry out function high voltage switching with our local DSC operations team on our Sydney sites
- Lead the maintenance and inspection of the high voltage network (132kV down to 22kV)
- Assist our commissioning team with electrical-related apparatus. May include high voltage apparatus, kiosks, generators, or uninterruptible power supplies
- Assist in design reviews for new projects
- Leading or assisting in handling sub-contractors on behalf of Ops during normal maintenance or during development construction integration phases
- Have an awareness of authority requirements in other states and within APAC
- Assist AirTrunk's safety team during incident investigations, by supplying technical mentorship

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience (8+ years of experience) in safely performing High Voltage switching operations
- Ability to read single-line diagrams and interpret them
- UPS experience and data centre/construction experience is preferable
- Great communicator and possess the ability to stay calm and calculated in high-stress environments
