Assistant Director

**Introduction**:
In this dynamic and busy role you will uphold our Centre's practice based on the recognition of the strengths of each child and creating new ways of knowing and learning. **Description**:
Working across all rooms, you will also support the Centre Director in delivering operational service and quality to our children, team members, and families. You will also help lead the day-to-day operations ensuring that the Quality Framework and WH&S requirements are met.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**Your duties will include**:

- To ensure children's wellbeing, learning needs and interests are addressed through a high quality education
- Meet and Greet families, children and visitors at the service
- Assist the Centre Director with interviews, phone screening, references and finalising new starter.
- Ensure compliance documents within the service
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**CRCS also requires all employees to**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
