**Your opportunity**:
The Category Manager - Indirect Procurement is a key member of the Procurement Team, reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement. This role is responsible for partnering with a broad range of stakeholders across the business to deliver strategic procurement outcomes across a diverse portfolio of indirect categories including, but not limited to, Professional Services and Customer Operations.
Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, effective stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive value, ensure supplier performance, and support business objectives within a dynamic and evolving procurement landscape. This role is responsible for managing commercial engagements and delivering strategic value across TPG Telecom. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with TPG’s procurement policies and driving optimal business outcomes.
You will provide end-to-end procurement and commercial lifecycle support, influence stakeholders and align business needs with market capabilities. Procurement activities will span from sourcing strategic partners for large-scale initiatives to supporting smaller engagements across a variety of contracting models.

**Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management**
- Leading vendor engagements in collaboration with business owners to maximize value.
- Identifying and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or scope.
- Managing and lead RFx processes across multiple categories.
- Conducting regular supplier reviews to ensure contractual compliance and resolve disputes.
**Commercial Negotiation & Lifecycle Support**
- Leading commercial negotiations, ensuring ethical and professional standards.
- Providing expert advice on vendor lifecycle and contractual management.
- Consolidating vendor base to leverage scale.
**Operational Excellence**
- Reviewing and approving purchase requisitions to ensure alignment with supplier agreements.
- Promoting best practice procurement strategies across business units and spend categories.
- Supporting procurement transformation initiatives and system improvements.
**Corporate Responsibilities**
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and exceed customer expectations.
- Staying informed of industry changes and proactively manage associated risks.
- Protecting TPG’s brand and information assets by maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Upholding safety and wellbeing standards in the workplace.
- Complying with internal policies and complete required training via the intranet and learning systems.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Commercial Degree qualified or equivalent desirable.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Strong background in procurement processes and policy compliance.
- In-depth understanding of vendor lifecycle and strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Track record of delivering cost savings through strategic sourcing.
- Experience leading RFx processes and managing procurement projects.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle).
- Telecommunications industry experience is desirable but not essential.
