
Digital Ad Operations Lead

**What we're looking for**
We’re looking for a Digital Operations Lead to develop and manage campaigns from start to finish on the Thanks network. You will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining digital campaigns, focusing on campaign setup, budget oversight, and asset optimisation. A crucial aspect of your role will be evaluating campaign performance, uncovering insights, and delivering data-driven recommendations for optimisation. Your experience will help craft the product roadmap at Thanks to deliver a best-in-class DSP, utilising AI to continually refine and improve on the management process.
**What you’ll do**
**Launch and Manage**:
- Take ads pre-crafted by the creative team and launch them on the Thanks network, ensuring they go live seamlessly.
**Optimize for Success**:
- Monitor and optimise campaigns daily to maximise ROI.
- Manage campaign budgets to ensure cost-effective execution and drive business goals.
- Use data-driven insights to identify and target the most relevant audiences.
**Collaborate & Innovate**:
- Partner with sales and creative teams to align campaign strategies with advertiser goals and ensure cohesive execution.
- Help to craft internally managed, always-on A/B tests, including ideation, implementation and reporting.
- Lead product experimentation efforts, working with relevant teams to test and implement optimisation strategies to enhance conversion rates and inform decision-making.
- Capture business requirements and suggest workflow enhancements for more efficient and faster campaign delivery.
**Analyze and Report**:
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CPA, ROAS) for campaigns, providing performance updates to key stakeholders.
- Leverage data and insights to guide strategic decisions; synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and clearly communicate results.
**Requirements**:
**What you'll bring**
**Experience**:
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience running and managing digital media campaigns, with a strong record of delivering cost-effective results.
**Platform Knowledge & Technical Skills**:
- Proven expertise in running and optimising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar.
- Expertise with performance metrics like CPM, CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
- Proficiency with analytics tools, ad management platforms, and affiliate networks.
**Analytical Mindset**:
- Strong analytical skills to transform data into actionable strategies that deliver results.
- A balanced approach to creativity and data-driven decision-making.
**Professional Qualities**:
- Self-starter comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively and adapt quickly.
