Registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia or hold a degree in social work providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). For Social Workers, membership of the AASW and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development is highly desirable. At least 5 years' experience working as a psychologist or social worker is also highly desirable.
Reporting to the Inspector, Safety and Wellbeing/ Manager, Psychological Health and Wellbeing, you will manage the Employee Wellbeing function, to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and programs that support the psychological health and wellbeing of QPS employees.
You will provide advice and support to the Executive and Senior Management, and work collaboratively with personnel across the Safety, Wellbeing and Central Panels Division, to support positive health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for QPS employees.
You will supervise PO4 Senior Human Services Officers responsible for the
operational delivery of individual and organisational psychological health and employee wellbeing services across the QPS.
