**The Role**

This is a pivotal role for this Rutherford-based business, who are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join the leadership team. There are several facets to this busy, yet rewarding role. As a qualified weld supervisor, you will be responsible for inspecting and approving all works in the manufacturing facility ensuring compliance with AS, ASME and API standards.

Ever present on the workshop floor, you will be adept with weld procedures on new projects, weld maps and witness weld qualification tests.

In return, you will have the opportunity to widen your skills portfolio with comprehensive training on their unique cement and epoxy products.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Surface Coatings and Internal Linings QA/QC compliance
- General welding inspection & general fabrication QA/QC compliance
- Develop NDT requests, Weld Traceability, Weld Mapping, Consumable Traceability documents
- Maintain compliance to relevant quality standards
- Understand & interpret Australian/International and Client standards, AS, ASME, API, etc.
- Develop weld procedures as required
- Witness welder qualification tests
- Identify welding procedures to be used on each project
- Maintain calibration records of welding equipment

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Qualified Welding Supervisor - AS1796 Cert 10 or AS 2214
- Qualified welding inspector - CSWIP
- Experience in development of Weld Procedures
- Experience in Pipe Manufacturing/Welding (100% NDT)
- Understand & interpret drawings,
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
- Understand & interpret Australian/International and Client standards, AS, ASME, API, etc.
- Experience with requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001 Quality Systems,
- NACE Certified Coating Inspector
- Strong computer skills
