Are you a communications professional with 5+ years looking for a new opportunity in the energy sector?

We are looking for an internal communication and engagement advisor to drive strategy to effectively manage change, culture and business improvement.

This role requires internal communications and engagement expertise to deliver high-quality communications and engagement outcomes in a fast-paced environment, with a motivation and interest in people engagement and business strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute at a strategic level, working collaboratively as part of a small team, ensuring your work is coordinated across the Communications & Engagement Section to support our staff to represent the company's brand.
- Act as a key enabler of internal communications and change capability in a team environment through providing proactive advice, coaching, feedback, and building organisational capability.
- Champion and role model the company's culture principles and behaviours acting as a coach and mentor to actively support the business in demonstrating the culture principles and behaviours.
- You will value and model professional excellence and expertise, consistently advocating in your interactions with others the value of communications.
- Provide advice to senior management on the potential impact of changes on our workforce and how we can engage staff.
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively on projects across the business to identify new and more effective ways for managing, creating and delivering critical messages.

**Deliverables**:

- Develop an internal communications & change management plan, to enable the business to operate effectively and perform at its best in a capital and resource constrained environment.
- Create clear, concise and engaging communications that reflect a deep understanding of our people and effectively communicate key updates and changes to improve engagement across a geographically disparate workforce.
- Coach and support staff to develop internal communications content in line with the company's brand, style and communications plans.
- Manage the production process (from writing through to proofing, design and distribution) for high level internal resources to support priority projects.
- Develop and maintain key internal communication channels and assets, including intranet content and internal newsletters, documents & reports.
- Provide support to the Communications & Engagement Section by contributing project management and change management thinking to anticipate and manage the people impact of proposed changes.
- Implement an internal communications measurement and evaluation framework to report on the effectiveness of new & existing change communications models.
- Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

**Qualifications**:

- At least five years' experience in communications roles, ideally with some experience specialising in change or internal communications.
- Relevant tertiary or other recognised qualifications in strategic communication/marketing, change management or related professional area.
- Knowledge of and engagement with latest forms of digital, social media and technology-led communication methods.
- Demonstrated change management experience within a commercially focussed organisation; with an understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement activities that result in cultural and behavioural workplace change.
- Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to write, proof and edit clear and concise content to target and engage a wide variety of audiences.
