**Company Description**
Sodexo is seeking a proactive and experienced **Facilities Manager** to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 300-occupant building located in Balcatta, Western Australia. In this key role, you will be responsible for both **hard and soft services** to ensure the smooth operation of the site and provide an exceptional experience for building occupants. You’ll have the opportunity to make the role your own, driving innovation and continuously looking for strategic ways to improve the facilities and enhance the service offering.
**Job Description** Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain both **hard** (building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and **soft** services (cleaning, security, waste management, landscaping, etc.).
- Supervise a team of staff and contractors, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, building occupants, and external contractors.
- Proactively identify and resolve facility issues, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- Budget management, procurement, and vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service within the team.
- Drive innovation and develop strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of facilities and services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Provide regular reports to the client and Sodexo management on service delivery, site performance, and key issues.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a similar-sized building.
- Strong understanding of both hard and soft services operations.
- Excellent **relationship-building** and **customer service** skills to manage interactions with tenants, clients, and contractors effectively.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental sustainability practices.

**Qualifications**
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
