**Job Description**:
We’re looking for an Injury Management Coordinator to support our Integrated Facilities Management Services portfolio, located in our Balcatta Support Centre. This is a Permanent Full Time position reporting to our General Manager, Workers Compensation and Injury Management.

As an Injury Management Coordinator you will effectively set expectations and educate internal stakeholders on legislative and internal injury, fitness for work and claims management obligations and implement pro-active injury management and rehabilitation strategies for injured workers.

Other duties in this scope may include;
- Working collaboratively with the insurer case managers to achieve desired RTW outcomes and resolution of claims, ensuring responsible financial claims management of injury and workers compensation portfolio
- Lead and participate in sessions with stakeholders through case conferencing, claims reviews and onsite visits
- Ensure timely claim reviews for planning, developing, and executing claim strategies and efficiently process weekly compensation payments
- Plan, develop and implement pro-active fitness for work, injury management and rehabilitation strategies for injured workers
- Coordinate clinical intervention and recommendations to achieve desired fitness for work and return to work outcomes
- Complete administrative and reporting tasks associated with injury management, incident classification, fitness for work and workers compensation including file notes, RTW plans, lodgment of claims
- Liaise with injured workers, insurers, health professionals, employer, rehabilitation providers, operations/support personnel, legal providers and HSEQ as required.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful, you’ll need;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in claims, injury management and/or fitness for work related field,
- Degree/Diploma in health-related discipline, highly desirable
- Professional experience preferably in a client service/allied health/legal or operations-based position
- Comprehensive knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation in Western Australia, preferable multi-jurisdictional
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate resilience in managing challenging scenarios
- Developed time management skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of SolvInjury, highly desirable
