**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Team Leader to join the Moreland Community Team within Northern Health’s Mental Health Division. We are located centrally in Coburg - close to Public Transport and parking options.

The Moreland Community team is a large, supportive and dynamic team made up of staff that are truly passionate and motivated in supporting consumers and their families/carers. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist mental health services to people who reside in the local government areas of Moreland and Hume.

We are seeking a suitably experienced RPN4, OT3, SW3 or P3 who is passionate about providing being a leader/role model within our team. This position is part time 3-4 days per week.

The Community Team Leader assists in the daily operational management and workflow for the team and supports staff to provide quality consumer focused care. The Team Leader participates and leads clinical service development activities, provides advanced clinical advice and supervision/line management to other staff of the service.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Previous experience in leadership roles/projects within a public mental health setting.
- A strong commitment to supporting the development of staff, staff education and capacity to engage and lead organisational change
- An ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with consumers, families/carers, colleagues and other service providers
- Placing strong value on being part of a team and leading a supportive and inclusive team culture and excellence in service delivery.
- Skills in collaboration and in co-ordinating care from point of referral to discharge
