**POSITION PURPOSE**
An exciting role, managing a portfolio of products that will have a critical contribution to the overall omni channel experience of our customers. R**eporting to the Head of Product, Student Experience**, you will provide leadership and student portfolio coordination for the product owners and Senior Business Analysts working within the Student Experience team, globally.
This role will support the delivery of digital innovation across multiple channels, supporting Student Placement:
You will identify opportunities to develop, enhance and improve our Student Experiences.
You will lead the development of the strategic roadmap for the products and work with the teams to implement and deliver, achieving the targeted business and customer outcomes.
You will provide digital product and process expertise, ensuring that our digital solutions are optimally configured and aligned to support our brand promise, and our customer facing solutions delight our customers and continue to meet their evolving needs.
**Through sound customer research, market and data analysis, along with co-creation with students, responsibilities will include**:
PRODUCT STRATEGY
- Management of current products to create amazing student experiences focusing on the product lifecycle, new product development and optimisation opportunities to drive conversion and deliver on business objectives
- Ensuring our student experiences align with counsellor channel, client channel, marketing and communications, to ensure a consistent student and optimal experience.
CUSTOMER FIRST
- Advocacy of the Student Experience within the scope of both digital products and physical student experiences
- Continually walk in the customers shoes (using data and hands on experiences) across the digital and physical platforms for continuous improvement via a prioritised backlog being actively worked on by the required teams
- Collaborate with CX and research teams as well as UX Lead, Product Managers in the counsellor and client channels to facilitate regular co-design to enable a complete understanding of customer needs.
COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT
- Develop core value proposition for students, integrating and connecting Student Experience with Counsellor and Client Experiences supporting physical and digital customer interactions, omnichannel experience and lifecycle.
- Reporting of key metrics impacting business performance, including tracking of benefits realisation (from new products and improvements)
PLANNING AND DELIVERY
- Ensure the customer journey on digital platforms and in physical / other forms are optimised for experience and conversion outcomes.
- Work with associated offshore product delivery teams to deliver the required product roadmap in line with strategy, business planning and practical needs anchored to network and customer feedback
- Manage initiatives in the roadmap across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes, co-ordinating and managing dependencies in release schedules
- Create go-to-market and change management plans with key stakeholders to optimize customer, business and operational adoption and performance.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Lead Product Owners and Senior Business Analyst to ensure effective implementation of the product strategy, roadmap and performance objectives.
- Clearly cascade goals and business objectives specific to delivery to ensure customer and business outcomes
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Track record in the management of commercialised products/ services at various stages in their product lifecycle
- Experience with the development of web and mobile technology in B2C markets, in leading Product Owners and working with agile product delivery teams.
- Knowledge and execution of product management practice, including business planning, roadmap development, forecast and benefits realization. Ability to lead product lifecycle from concept to MVP and go-to-market, including mature product iter
