**Who will you be working for?**
The company is a multi-division building products and hardware business. Your customer base consists of engineers, builders and trades. The company is global, profitable, and has a great reputation. Your product range possesses some clear strategic advantages against the competition.

**Your responsibilities**
- Develop the marketing plan for your category
- Review the market and range and assess opportunities for new products and channels to market
- New product development
- Reporting, data analysis, forecasting, insights and segmentation
- Working on pricing and margins
- Promotion - strategy regarding the messages and target audience and work closely with agencies and the marketing communications manager for execution - ATL, BTL and digital

**Your skills and experience**
- You have appropriate marketing qualifications
- Advanced use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (you love the numbers)
- Previous experience as a product manager in building products, industrial or allied industries is ideal, but not essential
- Project management and organisation skills
- Professional approach and a friendly attitude
- Happy in front of customers finding new insights and turning that into a product or logístical advantage
- Ability to influence across the business with a variety of functions
- Track record of success and ability to research and assess new markets and develop the product and a go-to-market strategy and execute
