As our highly regarded **Event Operations Manager**, you'll know everything there is to know about creating amazing event experiences and running a tight commercial operation. You will be passionate and hands on in your role and thoroughly enjoy the challenge of executing outstanding events at the iconic NGV.

**_ Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences._**

**Key duties**
- Manage the planning and execution of our functions
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, Executive Chef, Sales Executive and Events Coordinator to ensure accurate & high-level function delivery
- Co-ordinate the bump in and bump out of a variety of functions
- Contribute to the continual development of the client partnership
- Create an inclusive, imaginative, inspiring environment where everyone works together to enhance the customer experience ensuring service levels never dip below sensational
- Labour cost/control
- Ensure all events/functions adhere to strict health, safety and security procedures
- Rostering & management of the function team

**The person**
- Minimum 3 years function operational management experience in a comparable environment
- Commercially savvy and knows how to identify and deliver on growth opportunities
- Positive, supportive, ambitious leader with experience in carrying out personal development plans, staff training sessions and appraisals
- Develops effective relationships with individuals at all levels, from diverse backgrounds, cultures and locations
- Is passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
- Will have great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise
