In alignment with their ongoing transformation and commitment to continuous improvement, there is now an opportunity for a Hydraulic Design Compliance Officer to join their team in Newcastle.
About the Opportunity
This role involves providing expert compliance support to both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure that property connections within the local network meet compliance standards and assist in meeting environmental legislation objectives.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Performing hydraulic design assessments.
- Resolving disputes related to standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborating with the Plumbing & Trade Waste Team Leader to develop strategies for continuous improvement.
You will ideally have
- Proven experience in hydraulic design assessments.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs.
- High level of written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the Plumbing Code of Australia and related plumbing standards is highly desirable.
- Understanding of water utility operations is advantageous.
