**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking to an experienced Civil Designer to join our team. You will be joining a professional and collaborative team that comprises of engineers, designers and drafters. You will be working across roads and infrastructure projects with a mix of land development, and built form projects undertaking road design, external levels, pavements, stormwater design (including water quality and OSD) and sewer & water design.

You will be part of a growing office where senior staff are committed to helping you grow with our company.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for geometric design as appropriate to the needs of the project within one's capabilities;
- Plan design packaging and design interfaces
- Produce designs and design documentation;
- Liaise with drafters to enable preparation of documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies
- Design of civil infrastructure primarily focussed on roads, with a mix of stormwater, water and sewer reticulation
- Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- A passion for Civil design
- Tertiary bachelor’s qualification in civil engineering that is recognised by Engineers Australia
- 5+ years’ local civil design experience, with a preference to road design projects
- Have a working knowledge of engineering software, such as 12d and AutoCAD
- Excellent time management, ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst working autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and written communication
- Initiative and a strong work ethic
- A strong team focussed mentality to work collaboratively across multiple offices
