Join an Australian owned, Dynamic, Energetic and Innovative Business - Gold Coast based Company | Design Custom Automation Solutions - Salary Package incl Base + Super + Car Allowance **Engineering Manager** You will have a forthright and hands on approach to working with and managing a dynamic team of Technical Design Engineers, Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and addition Technical team members in order to "get things done". You will oversee and be responsible for the design, development and implementation of both software and hardware elements of projects from concept, design, build process through to procurement, resource allocation and installation and commissioning including all safety systems being executed to Australian Standards. The role will see you being involved in improving design practices, strategic direction/influence on business and the delivery of full turn key solutions to clients from a wide range of sectors such as packaging and FMCG and more. Day to day management and mentoring of individuals and team members to continually drive increased standards and competence as well as a focus on HSE by leading from the front is paramount, therefore proven people management skills are crucial. There is also an element that includes PLC and PC controlled machinery (Primarily Allen Bradley), AGV's, robot cells such as ABB robotics operating in a fully automated and continuous manufacturing environment, therefore the desire and ability to learn quickly from an already strong technical base is desired. **To be successful** You will possess the following skills and competencies: - **Mechatronic** Engineering qualification - Degree Level**: - **RPEQ Highly Regarded**: - **Proven Management experience & ability to lead people and teams**: - **Track record of delivering successful outcomes in Industrial Engineering**: - **Automation Industry experience in FMCG/Food/Packaging.**: - **Project Management and Strong IT Skills experience required**: - **Organised, detailed, calm, autonomous with proactive & solutions-based mindset**: - **Design / programming experience highly regarded** **Your Reward** You will be rewarded with an excellent salary package including excellent base + super + car allowance.
