
Business Support Officer

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and standards in relation to the business support function and activities of the business unit.
- Coordinate and prepare human resource and financial reporting for the Branch, including interpreting and analysing data, performance, and analytics.
- Develop appropriate local finance, human resource, business processes and work practices in accordance with government and departmental legislation, standards, policies, practices, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain continuous and measurable business process and service delivery improvements in relation to financial and human resource management, business processes and business support activities.
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships, particularly with executive, senior officers, other support staff and stakeholders.
- Carry out any other duties as requested to support the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer in the efficient and effective delivery of agreed services.
- Initiates and participates in activities to improve rapport and develop relationships to drive outcomes.
- Act as a role model for strategic procurement in accordance with QPS and CSD values.
**Key Competencies**:
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following
- Proven ability in use of financial systems (S4/HANA) including raising requisitions and purchase orders.
- Proven ability in the use of Corporate Cards and Expense Me Pro site
- Proven ability to manage team travel including Cabcharge account and car hire
- Proven ability in use of HR systems (MyHR, Springboard) including employee movement forms and initiating requests to hire.
- Proven ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.
- Supports the systems and performance that promote compliance, probity and ethical practices and complies with Queensland Public Service obligations
**Qualifications registrations and other requirement's**:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
