**The Division**

The Customer Strategy, Technology and Innovation division within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

**About the team**

The Brand and Marketing branch creates engaging end-to-end campaigns and strategies to drive behaviour change, improve safety, save lives on our roads and waterways, encourage public transport use, connect communities, and deliver the transport solutions of the future. We are brave thinkers and great listeners, who do creative, agile work in partnership with Transport’s divisions. Our customers are firmly at the centre of every campaign and our work is grounded in deep insight of their needs.

**The Opportunity**

Right now, we have a Fixed term full time contract opportunity till 30/06/24 for a Manager, Portfolio Marketing & Client Services to join the Brand and Marketing branch.

This role is primarily based at the Elizabeth Street Office in the Sydney CBD.

We work in a hybrid way, a mixture of working from home and in the office and we offer flexible working arrangements with lots of benefits.

If successful, you will develop, deliver and advise on high value future-focused communication and engagement strategies for key programs and projects to support and drive optimal outcomes for our partners, stakeholders and customers.

**What you will be involved in**:
- Effectively manage a high performing team who are able to balance complex needs and priorities in an agile way while maintaining the ability to be proactive and meet future needs in an innovative way
- Partner with the Senior Manager to develop and implement communications and engagement strategies that support an agile way of working while delivering on business needs and priorities
- Leverage your experience, knowledge of the business and critical thinking skills to provide strategic advice and guidance to leaders, partners and key stakeholders across the division
- Manage and oversee the delivery of strategic communications and engagement activities in line with Transport’s vision, values and business priorities
- Manage and oversee the development of engaging, impactful and targeted content that resonates with key audience groups, in turn driving engagement that builds relationships and ultimately achieves business outcomes.
- Identify and proactively create opportunities for staff to build relationships across the business and develop their knowledge of the business and their skills to increase commitment and engagement amongst the team.
- Manage and consult on the most appropriate and effective use of communications style. channels, timing and branding to support communication and engagement objectives

**About You**
- Extensive experience in implementing communications strategies at Senior levels within an organisation through various activities, channels, and teams across a diverse organisation
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- You have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and solid experience operating in a complex customer-centric fast-paced environment.
- Ideal, but not essential understanding of the Government Advertising Act.
- Along with being tertiary qualified in communications/marketing/public relations (or relevant discipline), you will be self-motivated and decisive - able to work autonomously and under direction.
