A little about the role...

Are you passionate about Professional Services and looking to take on the rewarding role of Professional Services Manager?

We have a fantastic opportunity within our established IT&T company and seek a leader who will not only join our team, but for a leader we can support in the next stage of their professional career.

As Spirit's Professional Services Manager you will play an integral part in leading a team of Professional Services Engineers/Solutions Specialist to implement products and services nationally. You will report directly to our Head of Professional Services and be passionate about bringing efficient Pre-Sales and solutions (including Infrastructure Designs) to our clients.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Leading a team of experienced and technical professionals; support 1:1’s and check-ins with the team, develop goals, monitor performance and support development requirements
- Effective resource prioritisation, management and planning to meet KPIs of the team
- Be across all the multiple deliverables/projects in the team
- Drive and complete cloud and infrastructure projects across multiple technologies with a particular focus on the Spirit Modern Workplace (Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security, Windows Servers, high availability and disaster recovery)
- Keep up to date with the latest products, services and emerging technologies at Spirit
- Assist other Spirit engineers and service delivery teams with support, guidance, and recommendations when it’s requested
- Drive and complete project documentation ready for handover; including detailed designs and SoW (Scope of Works) which consists of phases, tasks and durations
- Solution planning, pricing & effort estimation and bill of materials
- Ensuring that all ICT considerations have been structured and documented to support the implementation and delivery of the project
- Liaise with other Architects, SMEs, Operations team and vendors to ensure the appropriate architecture, strategy, and plans are in place to close out projects and implementations successfully
- Provide assistance working on RFP/RFQ/ RFI responses along with assisting the sales team in pre-sales
- Assist Spirit Project Managers in setting and continually managing project expectations with stakeholders

- Leading a team of professionals in an engaging and supportive way
- Sound experience in Microsoft 365 Public Cloud including: Microsoft 365 including Azure Active Directory, Intune/Endpoint Management, SharePoint, Microsoft Defender Suite and Microsoft Azure including networking, compute, Windows Virtual Desktop
- Previous work experience in a Managed Service Provider company is preferred
- Certifications (Microsoft/ITIL) highly regarded
- Windows Server; Active Directory, DNS, DFS
- Virtualisation technologies (VMware/HyperV)
- Microsoft Remote Desktop and other VDI technologies
- Scripting and Automation
- Network design and implementation including switching, VLAN, and WAN solutions
- Advantageous experience with Sophos, Watchguard or Cisco Meraki
- Design and implement backup and DR solutions
- Experience providing Senior / Proactive IT advice
