**Your new company**
This Federal Government agency aims to improve health outcomes for all Australians. Their purpose is to promote improved efficiency in, and access to, safe and high-quality public hospital and aged care services.
**Your new role**
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date governance frameworks through policy drafting and review;
- Maintain and monitor compliance and risk registers.
- Under supervision, manage compliance projects.
- Prepare regulatory reports and materials for senate estimates.
- Undertake work as directed in preparing and reviewing agreements and contracts for the Office of the CEO.
- Provide secretariat support services to the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, maintaining their forward workplan, coordinating agendas and meeting papers, and supporting the administrative operation of meetings.
- Supervise the Corporate Services Officer
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to research and contribute to developing processes and policies that meet the requirements of corporate governance obligations for a Commonwealth agency.
- Experience in contract management, compliance and reporting responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor complex and or sensitive information to suit a range of audiences.
- Ability to exercise judgement and make appropriate recommendations about risk, compliance and audit issues to achieve best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the PGPA Act and Commonwealth Procurement Framework will be highly regarded.
**What you'll get in return**
This is an 18-month position and is available as either a labour hire contract or on a fixed term basis (non-ongoing). The organisation offers hybrid working arrangements requiring attendance in the office, located in Sydney’s CBD, for a minimum of 3 days per week.
