Club Marine have a newly created opportunity for a Team Leader to join our growing Underwriting Team. In this role you will lead a team of 8 x Underwriters and ensure all performance, sales and services targets are being achieved. You will review and improve team performance through coaching and development.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Ensure team goals are achieved through a collaborative and team focused environment.
- Ensure new business and sales initiatives are shared, understood and delivered to customers.
- Contribute to process and service improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and profit improvements.
- Utilise data to enhance operational efficiency and business decisions.
- Develop and nurture stakeholder relationships to develop ideas and improve business outcomes.
- Ensure the team is compliant with all regulatory, legislative and internal compliance obligations.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all relevant products and services to deliver excellence in customer service and maximise retention of customers.
- Act as a referral point for escalations, reviewing and resolving complaints.

- Proven ability to articulate a customer centric culture and exemplify behaviours.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
- People leader experience and/or underwriting experience is desirable.
