Job Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join our hydraulic cell workshop team in Rutherford. Reporting to the Leading Hand, duties will include operating a range of machines and undertaking mechanical fitting tasks in the repair and overhaul of predominantly Hydraulic Cylinders and Valves from Underground Mining equipment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Ability to fault find and inspect equipment, then produce customer reports.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics
Strong time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and plan jobs
Proven decision-making skills
Ability to work autonomously

Qualifications/Requirements

Relevant trade qualifications in mechanical fitting

Dogging, EWP and Forklift tickets would be considered highly desirable

Ability to complete reports and use computers
