**About the role**
As the Principal Risk Governance, you will support the ongoing improvement and embedment of Origin’s Risk Framework, ensuring it remains fit for purpose and future facing to support the organisations strategic and operational objectives. In this role, you will be working with stakeholders at all levels, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of risk management improvement initiatives including large change management activities. In this role you will also be building strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business, as a core aspect of your role, allowing you to influence the integration of risk management into operational and functional processes.
Key responsibilities;
- Enhance the Risk Framework - Contribute to the continuous improvement of Origin’s Risk Framework; including identification of opportunities and developing Origin’s company-wide risk improvement plan.
- Lead risk improvement - Lead the implementation of key risk initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Excel in project and change management - Manage delivery of simultaneous initiatives, including establishing plans, tracking progress against deliverables, and providing progress updates to management.
- Maintain the Risk Architecture - Support the ongoing improvement of the risk architecture, risk accountability model for Origin.
- Build risk capability - Develop, deliver and maintain risk management training programs to build expertise in relevant risk capabilities across Origin and enhance the organisation's risk culture.

To be successful you will have risk management experience, have proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders to implement change and are effective at building strong relationships. You will show a collaborative approach and partner effectively with all areas of the business. you will also demonstrate;
- Demonstrated experience deploying risk frameworks in large organisations.
- Shape and implement enterprise-wide risk frameworks aligned with ISO 31000.
- Build trust and influence senior leaders to drive risk culture and accountability.
- Lead cultural shifts, design risk models, and embed best practices.
- Identify opportunities, manage projects, and enhance governance.
