**The Role**
Reporting to the Executive Manager - WFI Distribution, this role adds value through its unique contribution by strategically leading, managing and influencing the profitable growth of IAG’s Regional Sales Representatives (RSR) group within the face to face distribution channel (Agri & SME products), with a strong focus on embedding world class sales, relationship and client management techniques and principles.
The role ensures the continued identification, onboarding, growth and development of RSR’s through the establishment of joint business plans and ensuring RSR’s have the skills, capability and attributes to enable them to deliver superior service to clients.

- Ensure personal and technical development opportunities are available to RSR’s to enable ongoing growth and learning which ultimately improves the overall capability of the network
**Strategy**:
- Develop, implent and drive strategy across the IAG’s F2F RSR business to ensure the ongoing growth and development of the RSR network
- Collaborate with appropriate IAG stakeholders to ensure the successful development and implementation of distribution, sales and retention strategies for RSR’s and end customers
- Ensure and facilitate multi-level executive and management engagement between IAG and RSR’s
- Collaborate with appropriate IAG stakeholders to ensure RSR’s have access to all IAG products and services as required to effectively meet the needs of our current and future customers
**Customer**:
- Oversee and implement business development and distribution strategies through the creation of jointly developed annual business plans with all RSR’s, to deliver required business objectives - profitability, GWP, Retention and NPS
- Ensure all aspects of IAG’s service proposition is being delivered to RSR’s to enable them to meet and exceed client expectations through collaboration with internal IAG stakeholders
- Represent IAG at a industry and client events
**Operational Performance**:
- Optimise distribution process and practice across the RSR network
- Deliver profit, expense and revenue accountabilities in accordance with budgets and longer term strategic outcomes
- Collaborate with IAG appropriate stakeholders (Customer Development, Broker & Agency, Business Underwriting, Marketing, Customer Delivery) & the Agri and SME Solutions LT
**Governance & Risk**:
- Drive a strong governance and risk management culture through adherence to Group policies and objectives set within Business Distribution
- Ensure RSR’s operate within their delegated authorities
- Ensure ongoing monitoring and compliance of RSR’s in accordance with all internal protocols
- Ensure intellectual property, data and service level agreements are effectively managed
**Skills & Experience**
- Broad and diverse experience in managing and leading sales and distribution teams
- Ability to engage and influence RSR’s
- In-depth knowledge of complex sales and performance metrics within the insurance sector
- Tertiary qualified in related field (Business, Marketing); or related fields and/or suitable ANZIIF qualification
- 10+ years insurance and/or financial services
- High level of demonstrated experience in managing strategic partnerships
