**About the role**

**We are looking for a State Property Management Specialist to join the growing State Real Estate team on a permanent, full time basis.**
- Our State Property Management Specialist _provides operational expertise, guidance and support to the wider Property Management team across many areas of WA. This new role is for an expert in Property Management who provides consultative services and expertise, encompassing auditing, training and strategic planning to help achieve individual branch financial targets and meet legislative requirements. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be supported to learn and grow your career. _

**Responsibilities**
- Develop an internal audit plan for compliance, fee generation, fee collection, bond management, and other PM activities across the state.
- Perform compliance tasks relating to new Management Authorities and Leases.
- Take an active role in the induction and development of PM team members.
- Play an active role in the marketing and promotion of property management and represent Elders in campaigns, client nights, community events and forums.
- Monitor and report on PM activities within the Network to ensure consistent processes are in place and compliance requirements are met.
- Assist in business development strategies
- Contribute to the overall state and individual branch’s business plans and provide input into operational processes related to property management employees.

**About you**
- Several years of property management experience.
- Experience with managing people (desired).
- Expert knowledge of Residential Tenancy Legislation.
- Expert knowledge of key Property Management software.
- General knowledge of state geography.
- Good knowledge of market trends.
- Sound client relationship skills.
- Mediation/negotiation experience.
- Good Computer skills.
- Current Property Management Registration and driver’s licence
- Flexibility to travel to regional areas during weekdays, usually involving overnight stays.
- Certificate/Diploma in Real Estate (desired not essential)
