Reporting to the Innovation Strategy & Capability Manager, you will be joining a newly created team responsible for exploring and validating how Kmart can leverage design & technology to better meet the needs of our customers, creating a great place to shop that’s simple to run. You will impact stores and customers with innovative initiatives which positions Kmart as a global leader in CX and store operations.

**What you’ll be doing**

As an Interaction Designer working for Kmart you will:

- Work across the end to end innovation process as part of a small, multi-disciplinary team on projects directly related to improving how our stores operate
- Bring ideas to life This role is responsible for creating prototypes, visual experiences and demonstrating your sound creative mindset by using customer centric methodologies.
- Look at ways to visually present ideas through collaboration that will help customers achieve what they need in the most simple and intuitive way possible.

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Demonstrated ability to tell the story of how to get from a complex business challenge to a strategic solution through compelling visual narratives; be it print, digital or video.
- Experience working collaboratively with partners and cross-functional team members
- Participation in design-led innovation projects using human centred design or design thinking methodology
- High level experience in digital project development
