Accounts Officer required for a minimum of 6 months, working for a WA leading business, based in Perth CBD

Our forward thinking client, is seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable Officer for an ongoing temporary opportunity for a minimum of 6 months, based at their offices in Perth CBD. Working as part of an established Accounts team your duties will include:

- Preparation and payment of supplier accounts
- Accounts reconciliations
- Preparation for payment runs
- Management of reconciliation of daily cash flows from bank statement to the control account.
- Assist in analysis of financial data for the purposes of:Identifying debtor problems to recommend and implement effective solutions to credit control; and
- Preparation of reports with commentary for management
- Manage the debt collection process
- Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly processing and functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Testing and implementing new systems and business processes
- Ad hoc duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **5 years** experience within Accounts payable
- Able to maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Sound communication and problem solving skills.
- Experience handling and resolving complex queries
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for performance improvement
