Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Program Manager **to assist with funding activations in response to the current flooding situation

**About the role**:

- Plan and implement policy initiatives
- Develop and manage relationships with state, territory and federal government stakeholders
- Lead legislative change initiatives as required
- Track, analyse and report on the Australian Government’s disaster recovery contingent budget
- Manage the scoping and development of an end‐to‐end system to support and streamline the disaster payment process

**Ideally you will have**:

- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong policy development skills
- Leadership and staff management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of administrative practices and processes relevant to the APS
