As a deeply grounded NDIS and Aged Care provider, we require Support Workers on a casual premise with a view towards permanency. One should be adaptable and flexible to work with individuals with diverse special needs and to help frail, older people, including the prematurely aged, living in the community to maximize their independence.

**About the Role**

**Deivian Care is looking for a Support Worker in Samford and Caboolture (QLD) and surrounding suburbs **for 4 - 8 hours a week.

Availability: 5 days (Day availability)

Transportation - Must Drivers' Licence and car

Suburb - Samford and Caboolture and surrounding suburbs

**About You**
- A person-centered, values-based approach to service delivery that is informed by a proven commitment to social justice concerns.
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma informed, strengths-based and person-centered care.
- Demonstrated communication and relationship management abilities, as well as the ability to maintain collaborative working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

**Job Role and Responsibilities**
- Shopping, Community Access, Assistance with medical appointments,
- Help with cleaning.
- Support worker must have a good sense of humour and open to conversations.

**Experience/Certification Required**
- Relevant qualification in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support/Social Work
- Full QLD Driver's License and your own vehicle
- National Criminal Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to get one)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Manual Handling (not mandatory but preferable)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**:$31.00 - $31.50 per hour
