Are you a customer service superstar and a vivacious reader? Do you like to talk about what you have read? Are you available for shifts during the week and on weekends?
- Liverpool City Libraries is looking for some Casual Library Assistants to join our team and help deliver high levels of customer service to our communities across our 6 libraries.

As a Library Assistant you will be providing direct customer service to the community and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Promoting the libraries, collections, resources, and programs
- Providing readers advisory assistance to the community
- Assisting with technology use including computers, mobile devices, printing, wi-fi and library specialist technology
- Providing general circulation duties such as loaning and returning items, booking study rooms, reserving items, assisting with sourcing items from outside of our service

To be successful in this position you must have a Higher School Certificate or equivalent, current Class C Driver’s Licence and a Working with Children Check.

Applicants who are invited to the next stage will attend a group interview and will be asked to prepare to present to the group.
